history

Founded in 2004, CleanFish exists to connect the best seafood producers with chefs, diners and home cooks.

CleanFish was named a "Responsibility Pioneer" by TIME Magazine, voted one of America's "Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs" in BusinessWeek Magazine, won Social Venture Network's Innovation Award, and is a recipient of Food & Wine Magazine's Eco-Ocean Awards which called CleanFish "an ingenious way to aid tiny, eco-minded fisheries."
